Restorative Yoga

This is a gentle, therapeutic style of yoga that uses props to support the body and deepen the benefits of the poses. It is a soothing and nurturing practice which promotes conscious relaxation by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system.

Geared to the beginning and returning student, yoga basics focuses on foundational yoga postures and techniques that can be applied to practically any style of yoga. Basic breathing techniques, postural alignment and yoga philosophy are important aspects.
